Dr. Benjamin Maslin
Dr. Benjamin Maslin completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Management at UCLA Medical Center. A Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Maslin is double Board Certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He trained at Yale University School of Medicine, where he completed a residency in anesthesiology and internship in internal medicine. At Yale, he was awarded the Power Day Resident Award for exemplary patient care, teaching and mentorship. Dr. Maslin received his medical degree from University of California, San Diego School of Medicine where he achieved multiple clinical honors. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Maslin focuses his pain management practice on the comprehensive care of each individual and unique patient, promoting the optimization of health, functionality and overall well-being. Dr. Maslin utilizes a wide variety of therapeutic approaches, including procedures such as, injections, epidurals, and spinal cord stimulation therapy, as well as, medications, physical therapy, and alternative medicine.
He has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals in the area of pain medicine and has presented his research at numerous scientific conferences. In addition to patient care and research, Dr. Maslin teaches resident physicians as an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, Riverside School of Medicine. His hobbies include oil painting, traveling, and spending time with his family.
